He has served as General Manager for two private companies and is skilled at general and operations management, organizational leadership, manufacturing methods, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, engineering, labor relations, quality, product development, and project management
Nick's business successes include:
- For a $250 million manufacturer of stainless and specialty alloy steel products, achieved $3 million of improvements annually through implementation of Continuous Improvement processes and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- For a $200 million manufacturer of consumer hardware products, implemented continuous improvement programs achieving over $3 Million of annual savings and achieved operational stability by reducing staff and factory turnover significantly.
- Directed reinforced plastic development activities to achieve a 15% conversion cost reduction over 2 years.
Nick holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University Kellogg Business School with a focus in General Management. He also holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.
