Background Information

Kitson Marketing, Inc. was founded in 1987 and we grew our business particularly in the areas of catalog and tradeshow marketing for manufacturers, distributors and dealers.

In 1999, we added a web application division to our company called InTimeTools®, where we would specifically address the communication needs within the inside sales channel. We hired programmers and wrote code, tested and developed our own products, which are mission critical to our clients using them today.

We learned a lot this past decade of being on the front lines of web application development and have amassed a rich knowledge base of how technology works…the detail of infrastructure as well as the concepts behind it. Very importantly, we experienced the nuances of the “people part” of incorporating technology…the learning curve, working with people in implementing change, communicating the benefits, and building the understanding of how to use the application.

Today, we don’t develop our own products anymore. We’ve found others that do it exceedingly well. And we’ve applied our own research capabilities to uncovering the best of the best that’s available. We can custom-fit to your needs.

Our niche is in working with companies to bridge sales and marketing strategies and systems with the most effective technology tools.

Robyn Kitson began her career in newspaper sales at Isthmus Publishing (1980-1982), then went on to be promotions director at the Madison Civic Center (1982-1987). She opened Kitson Marketing, Inc. in September of 1987.
