Background Information

Examples of prior business optimization achievements as program manager

At ENVISIONit guided the leadership team into new Managed Services business area.  Sales commission plan was restructured to focus on three main areas: new product line, increase new client base and increase recurring revenues.

As an outside member of a continuous improvement leadership team at an international manufacturing company, increased turret press utilization from 43% to 55% while maintaining all quality metrics. Utilized the DMAIC project methodology and worked with internal leadership as well as line production personnel.

Conducted research and led strategic restructuring of McLeodUSA vehicle fleet purchasing policy in 2007.  Worked with GM on a two-year incentive purchase program that lowered the average cost per vehicle by $5,600.   We moved forward purchasing the Uplander cargo van, which reduced our vehicle operating expenses by 24.9% or a projected $300,000 annual savings in reduced vehicle maintenance costs.

Also at McLeodUSA achieved $2 million in cost savings by identifying and eliminating lease obligations during a Chapter 11 restructuring.
