Background Information
I am Karen Ostrov, Ph.D., a corporate psychologist. In 1994 I founded Konect Consulting,LLC. I've worked with people in 26 distinct industries including, biotech, finance, insurance, architecture, engineering, construction, government, food and dairy , non-profit foundations and health care. My practice is Madison-based yet reaches people across the US, Central America, Europe, India, Asia and New Zealand. I have extensive experience with family and closely-held businesses, nonprofits and for-profits and boards of directors. My clients typically work in midsize companies from 20 to over 400 employees with revenues from $5 million to $250 million. Yet some clients are individual entrepreneurs and consultants themselves who are migrating executives from larger firms. Since 2000, I have been adjunct faculty and executive coach at the UW-Madison Business School, Executive Education world- renowned program," Leadership Beyond Management" . I am an active member of MABC, TEMPO Madison, International Professionals, Society of Human Resource Managers, and the American Psychological Association Consulting Psychologist Division 13 and International Consulting Psychologists. I hold a Ph.D. in psychology from Marquette Unviersity, a M.Ed. in Counseling from Washington Unviersity at St. Louis and a BA with honors in psychology from the University of Michigan.
